Learn how to create your own sculptures and develop your sculpting practice with an introduction to oil based clay, sculpting tools, basic forms and textures.  No previous experience is necessary. Come and immerse yourself in this hands-on and intensive class where you will
Location: East Goshen Township Building




  • Develop a trained eye by sculpting through observation


  • Learn how to accurately translate complex shapes


  • Experiment with a variety of sculpting tools





Program Fee: $172.50; Materials Fee: (payable first class) $20; Includes 2 Lbs. oil based Clay, small base, wires; Sculpting tools will be provided to be used in class only.

About the Instructor: Alejandro Lemus is a third generation sculptor. He started his training at 11years old as apprentice as his father’s atelier, where he began sculpting and designing marionettes. Alejandro, originally from Mexico, came to the US as a figurative sculptor, and in a short time he was designing and creating sculptures for a number of leading companies like Lenox, Franklin Mint, Bradford Exchange to name a few. While he still continues sculpting for companies in the collectible market, he is also involved in creating his own work which is being showcase in local galleries and in Mexico City.
